Hello humans,
As a feline, I have a confession to make. I love hunting! And nothing brings me more pride than catching prey in the great outdoors. But what I don’t understand is why you humans get so upset when I bring my catch inside.
You see, to us cats, bringing dead animals into the house is a sign of affection. We love you so much that we want to share our bounty with you. We know that you humans don’t have the same hunting skills as us, so we bring you our prey as a gift.
Now, I know some of you may not appreciate finding a dead bird or mouse on your doorstep, but we cats just can’t help ourselves. It’s in our nature to hunt, and bringing you our catch is just one way we show our love and appreciation.
Plus, let’s be honest, we don’t really understand why you humans are so squeamish about dead animals. To us, it’s just a normal part of life.
So, the next time your outdoor cat brings in a dead bird or mouse, try to see it as a sign of love and affection. After all, we’re just trying to show you how much we care in the best way we know how.
Your loving feline friend
