Secondly, we cats are natural hunters and predators. We love to observe and watch our surroundings, and sitting in a small space gives us the perfect vantage point. From there, we can see everything that’s going on without being seen ourselves. It’s like our own little cat-tower!
Lastly, let’s not forget that we love to be warm and cozy. Small spaces tend to be warmer because they retain body heat, and we love nothing more than snuggling up in a warm, comfy spot. Plus, it’s a great way to claim our territory and make it known that this is our spot!
